I'm sitting outside a room at the university DS1 wants to attend, while he auditions for his place in the Bachelor of Music course. I'm just sick with nerves. This is ridiculous. And I can hear him. So scary.
He's playing a Joe Satriani piece, and it's really really complicated.

After this I'm going to a school, so we can check each other out and see what vacancy I could fill there next year. I really really want to work there, so I'm stressing that wont work out. Had two rejections in the mail yesterday, so not feeling enormously confident or anything.

Looking forward to the end of the morning...

He's finished, and very happy with how it went original.gif. The examiners said they will be recommending him for a place, eexcite.gif .

Now I just have to do my school visit, and the hard bit will be over for today.

Thanks for the well wishes original.gif.

My visit to the school went really well, and after years of day to day casual, I think I'm pretty sure of a full time (temporary) position next year, in a school for children with intellectual disabilities, and I'm very excited about it original.gif.
