DD needs a nice dress for upcoming events/ xmas. She is 7. She is to big for the little girls section in Target, and it seems to me, everything size 7 and up is not nice!

I take it this means that she is too old to wear those cute little girl dresses anymore, its too bad the bigger girls ones are so ugly sad.gif

What sort of dresses do you put on your no longer little girls? Where do you find nice dresses?

How would you like your coffee - short, tall or intravenous?
Go to Myer. Plenty of really girly dresses there and the prices are about the same I found. My DD is 9 and still loves to wear petty girly dresses biggrin.gif

There a few lovely dresses at Ezibuy (for older girls). This floral print dress is lovely for a variety of occasions, as is this floral print tea dress. I like the sequin tunic dress for something a bit more glam!

My dd is 8 nearly 9 and I have found this to be an ongoing problem. Sometimes I can find something at Myers in their formal section although it's not cheap. We lucked out this year and have a dress that was brought back from overseas thats still fits. I'm dreading next year.

Another vote for Myer. My 11 yr old DD is in size 14 now, due to being tall. I cringe to think where we go from here.

There's a really nice website for girls dresses called www.eternalcreation.com. I used to buy my daughter's dresses from there when they had sales/free postage as unfortunately everyone else shops at Myer, and everything else is IMO inappropriate.

Now that's my daughter is 10, and quite tall she fits into XS adults clothes. I can find more appropriate clothes from young adult shops than say Target.
