Wow. I don't know what I am most disturbed by. The taunting, the fellow passagers cheering at the taunting, the vulgarity, the threats, the fact that it's Melbourne and for a supposedly tolerant, multicultural society and this is far from an isolated incident.

I hope someone knows who these revolting people are because they belong in cage and they shouldn't be breeding.

Absolutely disgusted.

Mice Don't Taste Like Lasagne
Couldn't agree more - the thing that disturbed me was the fact that the bloke that posted the fottage said there was almost a mob mentality building up because they seemed to feel secure in their beliefs and that no one would challange them sad.gif

This blew me away - I can't understand how a mob mentality took hold so fast, and the level of rage that comes from nowhere so fast....

And then the dad, with that language and behaviour in the company of his two kids.... unbelievable. Apparently it was at 10.30 pm on a Sunday night... what those kids were doing there in the first place is beyond me..

Just saw this.... unbelievable...... I'm glad that it was taped.... what disgusting behaviour.... wonder if they behave like that otherwise.....
I know if I worked/socialised with someone who did that, I would look at them differently after that. Why on earth do they think it is acceptable....

Do you think you'd say anything if you saw that happening? I'd like to think I would, but I can imagine that I'd be too scared.

If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
It's disturbing and stupid. What is wrong with people? How embarrassing.

The look of fear on the little boy's face is awful. He is terrified of either his male caregiver or the situation or both.

It is a great video though. Really gets the point across.

Toxic.

After seeing this and reading the climate change thread, I'm off to do something a bit more cheerful.

Like play some Morrisey and The Smiths.

Hello handbasket.

And people wonder why Australia is seen as a racist country.

Also, the level of aggression, threats and intimidation aimed at a lone woman by several men is horrifying. I wonder what sort of attitudes those men have towards violence against women.
