If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
I doubt anyone will no what I'm talking about, but does anyone remember a show it was American and probably on about 9 years ago. It was on late night on channel 7.

It was pretty much one of those shows about a family and what they got up to, a drama one show.

The kids were in high school and I can't remember what the parents did, but at the end of the series (or the season finale) the dad revealed he had cancer, the mum found out her daughter was sleeping with her (the daughters) boyfriend and one of the kids was going to Spain maybe for college.

Long shot I know but it is bugging me that I can't remember.

I also have some vague recollection of movies that I want to know what they a called but I remember even less about them.

No not that one, it was earlier than that. I was living with a house mate in 2002, so it would have been early 2000s and it wasn't set in Texas. Was set in "suburbia" but I'm not sure where (not saying Texas doesn't have suburbia).

If it is not that show, let me know and I will ask P. He knows a disturbing amount about television (and movies). Feel free to ask him about all your vague memory movies and he might be able to help.

I have one though, and he can't help with it...

Some kind of treasure, ship/boat goes down, woman rescued and nursed back to health (maybe on a Greek island), she is wearing white, she fights someone on a clifftop or beach.

It may have been a dream, but I am pretty sure it was a film. Some kind of action thing?

Definitely not Overboard...it was some kind of treasure hunting action film. Or dream.

And please God, I have never seen an action film with Madonna as the lead ffear.gif

Thankyou for the responses...I am really starting to think it was a dream. Or that Cheryl is onto something...maybe it was a soapie!

Maybelle it isn't Sahara is it? With Matthew McConaughy & Penelope Cruz, it was an action movie about a American Civil war treasure ship missing in the Sahara rolleyes.gif
I am pretty sure Penelope Cruz gets rescued at the start.
