Hi

Am looking for a place to go with a group of about 10people. I want something nice but not mega expensive. Ideally it would be located within walking distance to a bar or have a bar we can sit in after. The bar needs to be one where you can sit and chat and not have to scream over loud music.

Any recommendation would be appreciated.

What part of Melbourne are you in?

"The Moor's Head" in Thornbury is good for groups and the food is excellent. There are a few funky bars very close by .

Thanks but I think I found a place yesterday. We had lunch at a place called rococo in glenferrie rd. the food was good and they had something that should please all tastes and budgets. Service was excellent. We can hang out there until about midnight which is what we want.

Yes, Rococo is a good, friendly, versatile place, whether it be for young singles or families - I thought about suggesting it, but when you mentioned a bar, considered Lulo might be more of what you were seeking.

Just thought i'd update and say we had a great time at Rococo. The food was excellent and we weren't rushed at all. Highly recommend the place.
