Ds is now finally sleeping from 7-5... But then it's a struggle! He had never been great at self settling, but now nothing seems to work. I have brought him back into bed with me a few times (which I swore I wouldn't do!!), and he eventually goes back to sleep for an hour, but it's usually after an hour of talking and wriggling. Any tips or suggestions? What were your best settling techniques?

Hmm, no other ideas than the usual: darkening the room with proper blinds, if he uses a dummy, maybe throw a couple in his crib so he can grab one to settle, teach him how to suck his thumb (our boy self settles so easily only because of his thumb!), hoping that it's just a phase.
I think it's just a phase he's going through. Our boy woke up at 5am for a while too but he luckily grew out of that. All the best! |
