Raine was the name of Princess Diana's wicked stepmother. I've always thought of Raine as being a girl's name. But I do like Frederick and Campbell.

I'd say Rayne looks more like a boy's name than Raine.

Sorry, I also see Raine as feminine.
Plain old Rain, though NMS, would work better IMO. |

I have both Rain and Raina on my list for a girl: general opinion was Rain looked a bit boyish and several people recommended I might want to spell it Raine as that was "more feminine" - which I don't quite get but there you are.
Rainier (ray-NEAR) is kind of cool for a boy but I don't know if its your style. |
