I love it. It's on my own list, well it is as a nickname. I've known a few, but not in Australia.
It's traditionally/commonly short for Isaac. Isaacs where I'm from tend to be called either Ike or Izzy - I prefer Ike. |

I think it's lovely, especially as a nickname for Isaac.
The only negative is that it makes me think of Ike Turner. |
