Hi All,
I am sure that this has been asked before in numerous forms....I have checked the food authority websites etc....but I have to attend a charity function on Friday night and they are serving a buffet. I am normally dubious about Buffet's at the best of time, and I am not sure what they are serving but I am assuming possibly a mix of chinese and Australian dishes. But does anyone know what on earth I can eat from this said buffet being a pregnant women, that no one yet knows about. I am very tempted to have some dinner before I go, however how do I explain to all my friends and friends of friends why I am not eating. Thanks in Advance |

Anything that's steaming. If the foods piping hot it's usually safe to eat. If you stick to the hot stuff you should be pretty safe from everything but an unpleasant taste experience.

If you are concerned, eat something beforehand, and then just eat a bit there. If anyone asks, just say you are feeling a bit off colour or had a late lunch. And if they ask why you aren't drinking, you can say you are detoxing!

I had a pregnant friend who said she was detoxing before Christmas, u could do that! We didn't suspect anything, just thought she was saving herself for a big silly season.
