Hi girls,

I thought it might be fun to start a thread around nursery inspiration.

I have found the website project nursery to be fabulous for inspiration. http://projectnursery.com

Do you have an idea of what you want? What look you are going for?

At the moment we are thinking gender neutral and I would really like to use elephants somewhere in the nursery because I like them! I think a lot of what we do will be guided by what linen/colour palette we go for.

Would love to see nursery progress photos if anyone is willing to share.

We rent so we can't do anything beyond furnish and furnishings. I can't wait to see what things people who own their houses can do.

The first one I clicked on from Project Nursery had a cool tree bookshelf (not THAT big... like 100cm tall) that was $850 blink.gif I'm a bit scared to look at any others now!

I love looking for nursery inspiration at
http:/www.apartmenttherapy.com/family
They feature real people's nurseries so the ideas are affordable and not too designer.
We were given a handmade quilt for the baby so are using the bright colours in it as a guide to decorating the room.

Has anyone bought fabric online or know of a good place? I want to find a pattern I like and thought it might be easier to sift through online swatches than down at the local Spotlight.
Big range, cheap prices are the requirements! haha

Any help would be appreciated original.gif I don't actually have a sewing machine myself, a friend who has one is going to help me out so it's a bit new to me!
