I'm couch ridden, unable to walk or move, so I'm pretty depressed today.

DF bought DD to me at 3am so I could feed her (I usually go and get her myself, and I was devastated that I couldn't). She was half asleep but smiled and cooed throughout her entire feed. Then went back to sleep straight afterwards, which is rare when DF does it.

DF is doing everything for DD and me today. He is being absolutely wonderful. He is truly an amazing man.

I've signed up for conversational Japanese lessons in town, and they are allowing me to bring DD. I thought I'd miss out, but they are happy to work with us.

This happened last night, but it still makes me smile.

My ds (2y4m) was 'helping' dh in the toilet. All I heard was 'No, I don't need directional help' and 'Thanks, but daddy isn't ready to shake yet.' I don't think my dh was appreciating ds's help.
