I was supposed to get my period about 5 days ago and haven't so thought we were pregnant. However I have very light blood when I go to the toilet and am not sure what is happening as this is very new territory. My period has never started like this before and I don't have any pains either. Anyone have any ideas as if we are pregnant I don't think this is a good sign.

Have you tried a HPT yet? I would just to put your mind at ease. It could be an implantation bleed but if you were due 5 days ago that would be late implantation. It could also be that you are indeed pregnant as some women spot during pregnancy with no ill effects. I'd do a test just to see and if you are still concerned, go and see your Dr. Good luck and I hope it is your BFP! original.gif

Have you done a HPT? I had bleeding around the time my period was due or shortly after with all my children, it is very common and does not always mean the worst.

Haven't done a test yet but think I will today if the bleeding doesn't get any heavier. Am a little worried though as it is very unusual for me. Freeking out a little in my head!!

How long did you bleed for? It is very light and just don't know what to do.

With my first it was 3-4 days of light bleeding, more pinkish red than red IYKWIM, definitely not a normal period. With him, I bled a little every month for the the first four months of pregnancy. The other two it was only the first couple of months. Do a test to ease your mind and then wait and see what happens. Good
luck.
