Ok so I finally got up the courage to try my very first class. I did pump and I LOVED IT!!!
It's only available at my gym one time during the week that I can actually go but ideally I would like to do one more a week. So my question is what would you choose out of combat and rpm to do?
Bear in mind that I'm very overweight and hopelessly unco. Also I have knee issues.

Personally I hate RPM and love combat but RPM sounds like it might suit you better.

I would go RPM. It is an excellent workout.

Body combat requires a bit of co-ordination (you will get the hang of it after a few classes though) and although there are low impact options, it may cause you grief with your knees.

I love RPM - doesn't require coordination and is low impact, also it is only for 45 minutes.

I am terribly unco and I am useless at Combat and everything else like that; I just flop around and feel like a compelte twit. RPM is much better for me. Sounds like it might suit you too.

I'm terribly unco and was horribly unfit before I started at the gym. But I LOVE Combat!!! Adore it. I think it took about 4 classes before I got to know what I was doing somewhat.

Does your gym offer Sh Bam or BodyJam? Ours does and they're great classes too.

Ok so I ended up doing Combat this morning and despite never having sweated so much in my life I LOVED it!!!
I did feel a little bit unco for the first 10 minutes but after that I was focusing so hard on what I was doing that the class flew by original.gif
