Hi, am considering getting a light weight stroller to keep in the car for shopping trips etc. Bub is just 10w so would ideally like one that rear faces and reclines almost flat.

The only one's I've found so far are those in the Combi range. any others out there that are worth a look?

Thanks!

Combi are really good, BUT I had trouble when it was rearfacing as I kept walking into the wheels and the steering was a bit funny as you couldn't lock the wheels when rear facing. Test one in a store both rear facing and forward facing to see how you like it.

Have a look at the Bugabo Bee. they are a bit exy but are very light, forward or rear facing, recline basically flat & are a dream to push. I got mine when DS was about 12 weeks and now I wouldn't be without it.

Well, I went and tried the combi today and jenflea you were right, they're not great to steer when rear facing. And the miracle turn was also no good as my feet kept kicking the wheels (and I'm a shortie).

Good idea about the bugaboo, but it's a bit heavier than I was after at 8.5kg.

I may just have to stick with my current heavier pram till DD is older and forget about the rear facing requirement.

I was going to suggest the Bee and well. I have had mine for a few years now and it's the best stroller I've ever had (and I went through a few - seven - to get here!)

It pushes like its floating, turns with a finger and fits all your other requirements, including being able to be folded with seat fact either way, not all reversible stroller do this.

I think the pros outweigh the con of an extra kilo of weight when folded, especially as you plan to leave it in the car when not in use??

I have always liked the look of the bee, but have found it difficult to collapse and open when having a play in the shop. I suppose with most things, there's a knack.

Any negatives to the Bee?

I have a combi urban walker, 2.5 years old now and still going strong using it on my 2.5 year old and 5 month old as well. Love this stroller so much. love how easy it is to fold. How light is it and how big the hood is. It is a bit harder to push rear facing but you get the hang of it after a bit. I really love it and would definitely recommend it!
