Hi
I'm currently looking at UBank for a home loan option. All looks pretty good and wondering whether anyone has a home loan with them and the good/bad bits Ta

How did you find the switching over process?
I was just recommended today to try UBank, but warned that the lower rates do come at a disadvantage, namely that they can be harder to deal with (I guess because you can't front up to a real person in a real office). Sorry to take over OP but I guess you're asking similar things. |

Currently we're with ING and it's all internet based too. You can call but there's no office. We haven't had any issues for 5 years so that bit doesn't bother me. For me it's more about the flexibility to make extra payments/redraw

There was loads of paperwork to do and it was a bit confusing (usually a mortgage broker would do all of that). Their website is excellent and it is easy to upload all your documents and the phone communication was all good.
we never dealt with our previous loan providers in person so I am not sure that it makes that big a difference. |

We are with them 12 months this month. I find them great never had any problems. When I have called my answer always answered and very friendly.
The application process only took about 3 weeks. I liked the way you upload all the paperwork on the website. If you have any q's feel free to PM me. |
