Hi,
Would love to hear of other peoples experience of being pregnant, but yet still having a period. My story (not really that significant - but am curious to hear the possibilities). I've three beautiful children and my hubbie and I thought this year we might try for another. We don't use contraception, and we never made a point of trying over ovulation time, just when it happened - it happened!) Now my last three periods have been strange, I realised now that instead of being a strict 28 day, which I always am, they've coming earlier and earlier (back to last month being only a 22 day cycle). My periods have been not as heavy but lasting a good week and then spotting brownish for a couple of days after. After getting sick of this, I mentioned this to my MIL who just looked at me and said "Are you pregnant??", ah that would be a "No" because I'm still getting my period. And of course now that she mentioned it, I have been having every pregnancy symptom in the book bar the most important one - NO period! Yes, I will go and see doctor and it's most likely a hormonal imbalance - but still interested to hear other peoples experience! Thanks! |

No - I haven't done a pregnancy test. Yes, that does seem the obvious thing to do. But, not buying one in a small town pharmacy!!!

I'd suggest you buy a HPT of ebay or something similar. Most of them use plain packaging to so the Postie wont know.
Ebay is a great invention for small towners |

That's a good idea - when I do go out of town to shop the other kids are with me and that makes it hard too. Don't want them to get all excited!
