I put my passport in a 'safe' place about 6 months ago and now I'm trying to renew it for a trip and I can't find it!!

Any ideas where my 'safe' place might be? I can predict a weekend of ripping this whole house apart sad.gif

Check any bags you have ever taken overseas or where ever you keep travel stuff - I once decided all "travel" related things should go together, which sounds sensible until you're ripping your office apart at 3am because you're sure you filed it!

My BIL found his in the pocket of a suit jacket - he worked out that the last time he went o/s hed'd gone to a wedding straight from the airport, so the passport went into the suit pocket instead of staying in his car.

Mind you - it took 3 of us (Me, DH & BIL) about 8 hours to find it after searching not only his unit, but his business premises as well.

This happened to me. I looked EVERYWHERE, I'd reported it 'lost', even though I knew it was in the house. A trip was pending and it was extremely stressful.

All of a sudden, it came to me. It was in a box, still in the travel wallet from my last trip. Do you have this kind of stuff stashed somewhere?

I was thinking about going to Fiji and pulled it out to check it because I knew it was close to expiry. Then decided to not to go and didn't put it back, put it in the 'safe' place! Stupid safe place!
