I thought I would post in here to see what your 11 month old did.
DS has a morning nap around 10am for around 2 hours, then due to school and kindy pickup can't go down for his next nap till at least 330pm. Usually he will only have 40 mins but lately won't nap at all. I am thinking of trying to push back his morning nap till 1030-11am and just going with one nap. Do you think it is ok for an 11 month old to only have one nap? When did your DS/DD go to one nap? What time was it? |

All 3 of mine dropped to 1 nap at 11 months. With the first they had their nap around 10:30 or 11am but DS3 can go down as early as 9:30. I just haven't been able to get him to have a second sleep though.

My son is 11 months in 3 days time and he is down to one nap a day too. He was having 2 until about 3 weeks ago. That second afternoon one was only a 40 minute power nap but it seems to have gone out the window.

Both my boys were down to one nap well and truly by then. Alas the eldest dropped the nap completely by about 20 months (unless I could be bothered driving him up and down the highway).
My 15 month old barely makes an hour. All the best, sorry i don't have better news! |

11 months here, too. He's now 15 months and will still occasionally do two day sleeps but he has to be seriously tired for that.

DD was around 13 mths.
DS I pushed him into going down to one nap at 10 mths as DD was still sleeping then and I needed them to both sleep at the same time so I could get things done. He coped fine and it was much better for us as a family as we could go out in the mornings and afternoons. As long as he seems to be coping with it, I think it is fine. |

2 of mine were down to one nap by then. Like your DS they started started not sleeping in the afternoons.
They still went down at the same time in the morning (about 10.30am) and I slowly pushed it out to lunch time nap over a few weeks. DD2 is 2.2 years and has a 2 hour nap every day. Other two were having a nap till around 3.5 years. 4 year old will still sometimes have a sleep. |

My DS was down to one nap around that age - I loved it. Meant he was ready for the night sleep a bit earlier and he started sleeping much better at night.
I'd try moving the morning sleep back a bit by 10 - 20 minutes each week and see how he goes. I'm pretty sure I had a 5 hour awake time at that age - so up around 7, midday sleep till 2 ish back to sleep at night around 7. They are all different though. |

I had one that went down to one nap at about six months, it drove me crazy! Some little ones just seem to get by on less. I had another one that kept up two naps til well into four years old.
