I have never know Myer to have any sort of parade. Neither has David Jones in any city I have lived in. Adelaide does have the Christmas Pageant which finishes at David Jones, but it is put on by the Credit unions and the State Government, not either department store. The Christmas Pageant in Adelaide was last weekend.

Isn't the parade the same day as Santa arrives in store and the windows are revealed? If it is then it was last week I think

Be bold or italic. NEVER be regular!
Sorry, was last week!! Myer had theirs on the Friday when the windows were unveiled and Santaland opened, and DJs had theirs on the Saturday with a kids concert in the Bourke St Mall and Santa arriving (via Ben 10s help laughing2.gif)
Our local centre is having Santa arrive this weekend with a little parade and a kids show original.gif Maybe google your local shopping centre original.gif

Myer's concert was big last year and televised via one of the morning TV shows but it was rained on and there was no parade. I was there and it was kindof fun but kindof miserable and wet so the kids were a bit flat. The tree in DJs was good though. Wonder if they have that again this year.

Also they might have some kind of celebration when the main tree goes up in the city. No sign of that yet.
