Well we could have ourselves a premmie at anytime now so I am looking for a name with either of the meanings -
'Strong''Fighter''Blessing'
I think you get the idea.... any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! Grace is the only name we've come up with to date but need to look for a boys name too.

I know someone who actually has the middle name Strong, as he was a little fighter at birth.

with meanings around brave or strong: Bernard, Bernadette, etc, Ballard, Brendan, Brannon, Brandon etc, Barrett
Conall - strong wolf
Valentine, Valentina etc - strong, vigorous, healthy
Leo, Leon, Leopold, Leontyne etc - strong,bold like a lion
Dustin, valiant fighter
Kane, warrior, fighter


close as I can get to the idea of 'blessing' : gracious gift of God - all the Jane, John variations, Sian, Jonathan etc & Theodore, Dorothea

gift from God - Matthew, Mattea, etc

Hi, My niece was born very prematurely and her name is Sigrid which is a Scandinavian name meaning victory, wisdom and beautiful. She has come a long way and is now 5 months old and just at what my kids were at birth weight and has had no real problems.
