So unfortunately baby love arent cutting it any more and are leaking overnight. I tried going up a size, but with no joy. I know people have said to cut a hole in the first nappy, but where do you cut it? Ie front or back, and about how big do you make the hole
Also the nappy you put over the top is that the same size or a bigger nappy?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I used to do it, but don't need to anymore.

I used a sharp knife (or one side of a pair of scissors) and cut a slit about 3 inches long down the front of the nappy - the bit where it always seemed to get full. Then I put a larger size nappy over the top.

Worked a treat until DS night weaned and then the massive wees stopped so I didn't have to worry any more.

Mum to two boys!! :O
I just rip a hole in the outer layer at the front, right in front of the penis. Then nappy over the top.

Before disposable nappies I used to wrap two cloth nappies around the baby's lower body. Why is it boys who do this and not girls? unsure.gif

Stab a nappy with a pen or simliar, about 8 holes, then put the other nappy over the top. Worked for me through 3 boys :-)

I've cut a slit and poked holes, with a bigger nappy over the top(although I still can't believe I need to use a walker nappy on my just 7 month old!)
Fingers crossed !!!

I had the same problem for about 2 months with my boy. I just brought Pilchers (a pack of 3 for $1). Made sure I fed him about 1/2hr before bedtime, then changed his nappy & put the pilchers over the top original.gif

I'd imagine that it would mean the wee leaks out in a spot where it can be caught by the second nappy rather than out the top or sides.
