Hey
Have a work Xmas do early Dec & no idea what to wear ... have a lovely review dress but it is a size 10 and is just a tad too tight for me at the mo so thats out. Another option was a Nicola Finetti dress which is a kind of bone coloured & not too fussy but no idea how 2 accessorise and in what colours? Wanted to look nice/not too blah I am 5ft 7 and feeling a bit rubbish about myself and my body at the mo due to a recent ectopic ... and yeah I am 36. I work in early childhood so everyone is either much younger than I am or a fair bit older so want to look fashionable & stylish without being mutton dressed as lamb Happy to buy something new but don't want to spend heaps.... another alternative is wearing some nice sass & bide rats I have (bee stings) in a 7/8 length but then need a nice top which will hide my bum ... refuse to have my bum and crotch out on show. OMG i so need personal stylist about now, feeling really rubbish about myself This post has been edited by fefe76: 16/11/2012, 01:37 PM |

I'm a big believer in 'google images' for ideas on things like this. Though I did put in 'taupe' as bone dresses had some very bizzare things come up.

you can kind of see the colour of the dress here. the rest of the dress is just plain so you''re not missing much by not seeing the rest lol I am open to suggestions for other outfits though |

It looks like a great dress. You could go with red strappy sandals or peep toes and a red handbag, or a bold blue shoe/ bag?

I love that dress! I would accessorize with bright yellow which is really in at the moment and would look gorgeous against your skin colour!

Would go for bright handbag, shoes and jewellery - I would choose royal /light blue but most would work.
Great dress!! |

I have a work xmas party tomorrow night but it's not going to be very dressy. I'm just wearing something I already own. Yet to decide what dress but there are several to choose from and some I have never worn. Maybe a purple chiffon or a teal dress. I think you should go out and try some dresses on and go with the one that makes you feel the most comfortable and confident. another 2 more work xmas dos coming up. those 2 are more dressier. |
