Hi all,
We are in the process of furnishing a new house and are looking for new furniture. We have a reasonable budget for a sofa, around 8k. Can anyone recommend a retailer? We are looking for a contemporary style modular sofa. What do people think of Natuzzi? I've also checked out King, but I think Natuzzi is somehow better quality. I have also looked at Milano Furniture which have beautiful Italian furniture. I am from QLD btw. Thanks! |

My sister recently bought two Natuzzi leather chairs for her lounge room, to go with a sofa she already had. They are beautifully made and look gorgeous in the room.
She did have to wait longer than the 6-8 weeks for delivery - I think it was more like 10-12 from memory. Other than that, she said she's very pleased. |

Rather than ask on here, which is unlikely to result in much, you should contact a local interior designer - that way you'll really get something suited to your house!

We've had both Natuzzi and King. I actually think the King leather is a bit better quality, but the hard accessories (like the table attachments) are not good quality at all (I can't compare those with Natuzzi though as the sofa was had from there didn't have any attachments on it). So I'd choose between them based on the design.
I would second the Coco Republic suggestion...though 8k may not be enough there... This post has been edited by lizzzard: 14/11/2012, 07:30 PM |

I had a look at Coco Republic but it seemed abit old fashioned instead of contemporary...

We bought our modular set (Jasper) from King Furniture and absolutely love it. You can pay extra to get a top quality leather. We have the standard leather on ours. It is six years old now and still in fantastic condition, despite our three year old doing everything he can to trash it (spills, bouncing, climbing etc). There is no sag in the cushions at all. We are very happy with our purchase.
We didn't purchase any coffee tables etc from King, just the lounge. |

I know you are in Qld, but maybe have a look at Fanuli Furniture for contemporary lounges?
