BFast
2 weetbix & low fat milk

M/Tea
1 x banana or an apple

Lunch
Half a woolworths bag of lettuce with a 185g tin of tuna in olive oil

A/Tea
Apple or banana (alternate from what I had at m/tea)

Dinner
Vegas or salad with tin salmon/chicken/turkey

Exercise
30mins treadmill = 200 calories
Arm weights

1 wk later and absolutely no weight loss. Guessing I'm either doing something wrong OR it takes longer to see results?

Any advice appreciated!

I can't comment too much on the food 9i struggle with that myself sometimes!) but do you drink any water? I do notice that one weeks where I drink 2 litres everyday, I see a shift, whereas on weeks where I haven't had much water, I tend to stay the same.

It might not work for everyone... just a suggestion!

It definitely takes longer to see results. I seem to have a lag phase between my actions and the outcome on the scales (both with losing and gaining weight).

You are not eating much though - are you hungry all the time? If so, it might not be sustainable. If I was trying to eat like that I would definitely have big cravings and end up pigging out.

How much weight do you have to lose? That's not very much food, unless you are really tucking in at dinner, of which case i would eat the larger meal at lunch or breakfast -earlier in the day. Also I assume you weighing yourself in the same conditions?

I really don't think one week is long enough to see any results.
So keep going, it sounds like you're going great and I can't see anything obvious that you are doing 'wrong'. Good luck!

Do a month on that diet and then if no results go to the doctor. Something is wrong.

As PP said, drink 2 litres water a day. Oh and what about drinks, NO diet sodas, NO soft drink, NO fruit juice, NO alcohol, have tea coffee with only a dash of skim milk.

Sometimes the scales aren't that accurate at showing losses, perhaps try body measurements as well?

Don't crowd Sir Walter, Edmund.
Personally, I would drop the cereal for breakfast and opt for some protein. Piece of toast with canned tuna or salmon or an egg (poached or boiled). I would also ditch the tuna in olive oil, while olive oil is a good fat, it's high in calories.

Add some vegies to your salad, tomato, capsicum, artichokes etc

Keep an honest log of what you are eating at Calorie King.

Thanks everyone.

Oh you just reminded me that I have a glass of diet lemonade at dinner! Also 3 cups coffee with light milk and equal.

Also I find I'm not hungry on this diet. Maybe because I exercise after work before dinner and I find exercise suppresses my appetitie. Too hot and bothered!

Really surprised about not loosing weight... unsure.gif

What's wrong with diet soda? It has one calorie per serve if that! It's the one thing on that list that is OK
