Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.
DH and I were mucking around last night. We've been discussing starting the baby thing next year, and were chucking around all sorts of silly things.

In amongst all the ridiculous (Stone Cold Steve), we actually came up with a combo I quite like.

Is Xavier Kirby B** too obviously comic fan, or would you have to be seriously in the know to pick it?

I have no idea what it's all about. Thus, in my world, it would be fine. It's a nice name! original.gif

We are severely limited in first names, in that anything that ends with an "ee" sound is out, and because our last name is so short and vowel-y, we can't have vowel-y first names LOL.

We momentarily considered Wolverine Stan Tounge1.gif

I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't even know who Xavier is in reference to (I am wanting to say X-Men?) It's not pronounced Ex-avier is it?

Xavier = Professor Charles Xavier from Xmen (well done!) (Zay-vyer)

Jack Kirby - prolific 80s comic writer, and one of DH's favourites.

Yay I am half-nerdy wink.gif

I had a feeling that it wasn't pronounced correctly, pleased to know I am wrong.

Father Dougal for the Papacy!
I remember what your surname is original.gif and while I like Xavier and Kirby is OK, Kirby seriously does not work with your surname to my ear. I know it would be so rarely said out loud but it would bug me.

Also if it gets shortened to Xav? All I can hear is Save ::your surname::

I know, I was a great help there.

Xavier's fairly popular these days and Kirby I would assume was a family name since I know nothing about comics. original.gif
