I did with my two, but only after 6 months - until then I breastfed twin 1 and bottlefed twin 2 my expressed breast milk (she had terrible latch problems and never did get the hang - after three months of breastfeeding then comp feeding ebm almost the whole amount of the feed I gave up).

After 6 months twin 1 had Karicare goat milk formula with an ebm bottle or two a day until she was 1 and twin 2 still breastfed until 2yrs.

I found after that age it didn't impact on routines but by then they were on solids too and not having as much milk, which no doubt made a difference.

If you were out to do this, a quickly digested formula such as a HA one might be worth a try - other formulas might be digested more slowly so your formula fed baby might not be hungry as quickly as the breastfed one.

Breast and bottle at once is not too hard to do - I would pop twin 2 on the breast and snuggle twin 1 up beside me on the couch against my thigh to bottle feed her.

Yes I did from 2 - 8 weeks. I ff Quinn due to him being tongue tied even though it was cut he just couldn't get the hang of it. I bf Jacob out of pure guilt as i felt terrible i couldnt do quinn but he screamed before and after every feed sometimes it wpuld take an hour to burp him and then during the day I was sleeping him on his belly to settle him. After a near on breakdown from the constant screaming I put Jacob on formula too and omg what a turnaround he is still sometimes unsettled maybe only 30 mins max. instead of 3 hours in a row! And burps as soon as I put him on my shoulder. In all honesty I found it easier to bf one and bottle feed the other at the same time than bfding them at the same time
