Looks like I will need one for work - one that takes a sim card - so I am on the hunt for the best place to get one.

I don't really know the difference between the iPad2/3/4 etc so don't want to be conned by a sales dude to buy what they are trying to sell, not what is best for me.. I will need internet access while on the go.

It needs to be a new one that I can receive a tax invoice for, so my work can then reimburse me.

Will be mostly used for uploading photos and doing reports via the web.

I bought mine from big w. I've got the new iPad 3 but only really purchased it for my daughter to use. I'd suggest going to somewhere like d*ck smith and telling them what you need and asking what they suggest.

Apple store. The after sales service is worth it.

Do your own research on the Apple website, make your own decision about what you require, then use your knowledge rather than rely on a salesperson.

In the US the day after thanksgiving is a major sales day (think our Boxing Day sale as bring a one day only thing). Apple stores here both physical and online have had sale specials too on this day.
