Our baby boy is due next month and we're STILL struggling to pick a favourite name. The ones at the top of our list are:

Elijah - is this too religious sounding?
Thomas - too boring / common?
Archer - what do you think when you hear this name?
Harry - not serious enough? ( not really a fan of Harold, Henry or Harrison)

Your opinions / suggestions would be a great help!

Thanks

I like Archer and Harry. I think Harry is fine as a full name & like it way more than Henry.

Firstly congrats on your baby boy's impending arrival!

You have very good taste in names cause I love all of your choices biggrin.gif

Elijah is lovely and I don't hear it too often.
Thomas is a classic name and I don't think it's boring (IMO)
Archer I LOVE, it was on our list for DS but it doesn't go with our surname sad.gif
Harry I love as well, I know a few kids with the name and also 1 teenager, suits them all original.gif

You can't go wrong with any of those in my opinion!

Good luck biggrin.gif

Would you conside Isacc to Elijah? Just a thought. I love Isacc but its too close to our DD's name so we cant use it for our boy arriving soon.

I like Harry, I havent seen it that much lately.

I dont really like Archer.

Thomas - I agree to common.

Other suggestions - Oliver, Arlo, Jackson, Samuel, Max, Jacob.

Elijah - i think Elijah Wood the actor takes away full biblical impact. It is a bit 'bible' sounding, but not in a bad way IMO. Is nice!

Thomas - It is very common, but in a nice way! Like James, Emma, Sarah, all common names, but lovely. I love Thomas!

Archer - Was on our list, but hubby vetoed as he didnt like the nickname Archie, which i LOVED, and i only wanted Archer if i could get Archie!

Harry - definitely serious enough, and also lovely sounding.

Honestly, I agree with PP, you cant go wrong with these ones!

Elijah is a really nice name. I wanted to use it for one of our boys but DH wasn't a fan. I don't really think of it as a religious name.

Thomas is fairly common but nice name.

Archer is not something I would use but I don't mind it.

Harry always makes me think of Prince Harry (not necessarily a bad thing).

I like Elijah best.

Eli is another option that's Biblical but doesn't sound it as much to some people, a bit lighter.

I love PP's suggestion of Isaac as long as it has 2 a's and one c. wink.gif

Archer would be my second choice.

Other suggestions: Arthur, Levi, Emmett, Asher.

I like all of those names, but none of them grab me.

Silas, Elias, Elliott, Ellery, Albert, Henry, Edward, Hartley
