My husband is in his late 20s and dresses in skate/ surfy clothes which is fine but he looks really young and wants to start dressing a bit older.

In my town you have the choice of surf/ skate shops and shops for older men like my dads age. There doesnt seem to be any between and I dont know where to start looking online.

He is tradie and is still very much a mans man so if I got him skinny jeans and a tight t-shirt he wouldnt wear it so I need to find clothes that are masculine, stylish and age appropriate.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Know of any shops online?

Dp loves dark wash jeans straight cut.
Shirts are his band shirts hes collected over the years for day to day. Something nicer is plain branded surf tshirt (white black and green colours)
Nicer again is his button up shirts all bought from ed harry.
We also buy the bulk of his singlets etc from ed harry as it seems to last longer than other stores.
He is 27.

i'd be interested in others replies, as my dh is around the same age.
i started by buying him nicer shoes, more 'grown-up', they make a huge difference to his outfits. and more button up shirts.

My husband had exactly the same problem. He found that the clothes in Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren suited him, as he's a tall/slim build shape, and those American "preppy" brands really work on his body shape. He looked hilarious in all the more "trendy" skinny shorts etc. Ralph Lauren and co. are expensive but if you can get to an outlet (DFO?) then you can get really good prices.

Yes, + Sportscraft. Keep an eye on Myer's sales, as they do 30-40% off quite regularly. The quality is amazing; you really get your money's worth out of these brands.

My husband is not skinny - he's actually built not unlike a bulldog - but classic style clothing still looks really good on him.

My husband is mid 30s, and 80% of his casual wardrobe is French Connection. He's got a few things from Myer like Ralph Lauren, Ben Sherman, Jag, Sportscraft.

He's also tall and quite thin.
