Hi ladies

Just a very quick question - do any you have a recommendation for a photographer that does good natural b&w shots of newborns (the first couple of weeks after birth)?

I live in the Eastern Surburbs, Sydney and all the quotes I am getting seem to be double than what I was charged for my wedding (including photo album and full Cd of images...!!!)

Any recommendations would be much appreciated
Thanks

I have a friend who has recently started a photography business - very reasonably priced and does lovely newborn/toddler shots (have had some of my toddler done recently and they were just beautiful). We got to a choose a set number of shots and got them on a disc, rather than having to buy prints which worked well for us - I guess it depends what you're after and how much you're willing to spend.

Good luck!

I have used Hannah a couple of times for sessions with DS and her work is amazing! Her prices are reasonable as well and include a framed print and disc.
Her website is: www.hannahjayne.com.au - she is also on Facebook.
Another one is siladji photography, he is only a young guy just starting out but his style is similar to Hannah's, some of his photos are stunning.
I don't know if he has a website but is on Facebook.
Good luck smile1.gif

If you don't come across anyone you're happy with, PM me & I'll get a name for you. A friend had photos taken of her NB that sound exactly what you are after, but I don't have the name on me. I can ask her tomorrow though if you are stuck.

It might be a little late but I can highly recommend Amy Tong

She has a studio in Balmain and solely does newborn photography. Her work is beautiful and very reasonably priced and she's just a lovely person. We used her after our daughter was born in late 2011 and am looking forward to seeing her again with bub #2 later this year.
