My American friend had a little girl yesterday named Atley.
Anyone heard this name before? |

I haven't heard Atley before either. Closest I've heard is Adlai (as in Adlai Stevenson). |

No. I haven't. But I am positive that there are many, many, probably many millions of names that I have not heard of.

I think I've seen Atlee on an older man, and Atleigh on a girl. Pretty unusual though.

Never heard of it, but don't mind it for a name (not that I'd use it)

I know of a man called Atley/Atlee. Makes me think of Clement Atlee. I"m pretty sure your friend didn't name her little girl after a long dead British PM though. Or maybe she's a 20th Century history geek?
