We haven't told anyone about bub except for close family and my best friend who I hang out with weekly for a pint-and-chat. We've been trying to keep it under wraps, just in case anything goes wrong.
Anyway, we had some friends over last night for dinner and board games (nerd alert!) DP was burnincooking stuff on the BBQ and one of our good friends sidled up to him and said "um, is Kahm pregnant?"
DP said "well, yes, but how on earth did you figure it out? Is it because she's not drinking?" and our friend said "Oh, a bunch of reasons really".
I mean, he's a good enough friend that I'm happy for him to know, I went to kindy with his wife for crying out loud. I just didn't want them to have to keep a secret for me, so I didn't say anything. But I got busted anyway - and I'm DYING to know what gave it away!!
Anyone else got 'busted' stories?

When I told a colleague I was pregnant he replied, "Yeah, I thought so". Me: "Why, how did you know?" Him: "Your boobs are bigger".

I was at my friends house and her mum pulled her aside to ask if I was pregnant, my friend told her mum not to say. Anything in case I wasn't. Nothing like that to make you feel like a whale . Admittedly I am already huge, so I don't even want to think about how big I will be by the end.

Two of my friends just confronted me yesterday at dinner party infront of 6 others who are not very close friends if I am pregnant. I just asked him if he think I am fat to divert the question. Apparently it cos im not drinking alcohol and insisted eating cooked food only. (They were thinking of sashimi for dinner). Anyway its rather hard bcos I never turn down a glass of red or white bfore so it was a really clear sign to many. My BFF was there n said that I am actively trying to ease of the confrontation. Phew...

All of my friends knew we were trying anyway - had this pattern of abstaining from alcohol for 2 weeks (when I COULD have been pregnant), then drinking for 2 weeks when I knew I wasn't - so when this pattern changed it was pretty obvious what was going on.
My workmates guessed because I kept vomiting at work.
My (male) hairdresser guessed because my boobs double in size! He'd just had a few family members and girlfriends announce though so he was 'attuned' to the changes.

Not quite getting busted, but along the same lines. DW was asked by her optometrist if she was pregnant. At the time, we were unaware that we were. The optometrist had seen something in her eyes that he only ever saw in pregnant women. DW went home and peed on a stick and she was pregnant!! Buff
