Why are some names that are similar to, or in the same theme or feeling as Eleanor? It's my friend's current fav but she's looking for other inspiration. Thanks!

El- names I like:
Eliora
Elowen
Elspeth - A bit more old-fashioned and a little more of a statement than the related Elizabeth.

Other E- names that sound like they go with classic Eleanor:
Emmeline
Esther
Emily - very popular but I like it.
Esme, and Esmeralda
Evangeline, though it's too religious for me it's very pretty.
Enid - for the brave.

Similar al- names
Alana/Allana/Alannah
Alice

Other names altogether that just have a similar classic feel/sound to me and "fit" with Eleanor
Rosamund, Rosemary
Violet
Vivien
Caroline
Zelda
Hazel
Leora and Leona
Lillian
Valeria and Veronica
Opal
