On this boring Saturday arvo I'm watching simpsons reruns. laughing2.gif

Season 2, ep 22, Bart donates blood to Mr Burns. Homer is A+, Bart is apparently OO-. I assume Marge isn't OO- seeing as she offers up her 10yo son to donate instead of herself. laughing2.gif

I'm pretty dumb and don't understand what Dr Google is telling me. laughing2.gif

So, is Bart Homers biological son?

Perhaps Kang or Kodos is Barts potential father. after all one of them is Maggies father. Plus I want to know what ever happened to Barts "evil" twin?.

Also the episode where marge was at college and hooked up with her professor and homer became a diabetic rockstar, before they had bart. I can't remember how they explained that.

most likely.

For blood type we have two forms of the gene, called alleles (one from mum one from dad). There are three forms A, B and O.

If you have the forms AA or AO you are type A.
BB or BO is type B
AB is AB and OO is type O.

it is the same for the Rhesus factor, two forms. if you have a + and a - then you are positive. two + is positive and two - is negative.

So if Bart is O- he must have the alleles OO and --. That means Homer and Marge must have at least one of those too. so to be A+ Homer will be AO ans +-.

Plus what about when an episode was made where they were looking into the future when all the kids were married and Maude Flanders was there, but then they bumped her off in a later episode.

I could see right through that one.
