not exactly disingenuous
Hi all,
I am about to start 6 months of chemo and would like to add some new songs to my ipod to help pass the time. I'd love to hear your suggestions - anything happy, upbeat, romantic, fun would be great. Obviously want to avoid anything sad as the aim is to lift my spirits!

Thanks,
Julie

Maybe a bit corny but how about "Feelin' Groovy" and Kermit's version of "The Rainbow Connection" - these two always make me happy.

Jamiroquai - Canned Heat - it's all about dancing & not letting crap get you down.

Wishing you all the best with your treatment x

Rosepickles - the problem is that all my favourite artists and songs tend to be on the sad/melancholy/deep and meaningful side. Eg I love Powderfinger, Florence and the Machine, Bruce Springsteen. I have lots of music already loaded on my iPhone, but none of it is particularly fun or uplifting. Thanks for your suggestions, looking forward to seeing some more.

Crazy old Kate Bush would be distracting - Babooshka always makes me happy, if perplexed!

Best of luck, Hattie.
