I want to cry....

Have been ttc for nearly two months now but I hadn't had my period. Was bding, using opk and taking elevit, all the usual stuff while in the back of my mind was secretly hoping that I was going to be one of those freak stories where you fall pregnant straight after coming off the pill. Well, today my period turned up. I strangly feel really sad and feel like the last two months were a waste and I am back at square one. I know two months is not long at all but I feel awful. Does anyone else feel like this if their period turns up?

Sucks doesn't it? And unfortunately it only gets harder, not easier. I guess my strategy to coping is (I know this sounds sad) but I don't hope. Each month I just assume I'm not pregnant this month and that's my default setting. Then I'm that little less disappointed when it's true Good luck on your ttc journey, hope it's a short one! The whole TTC process is a huge emotional rollercoaster, you are not alone! The good news is, now that AF has arrived you can become proactive and track your cycle so that you can get to know your body and work out when you ovulate. Maybe in conjunction with FF, you can try OPK's or start temping. Just an idea! Good luck and all the best

ttc is not easy its not meant to be. When AF turns up I cry cause I have lost 2 pgs and been ttc for almost 18months
