Hi Girls,

So I have entered to world of charting with Fertility Friend.

I don't know why, but I find the site really confusing to use!

I was trying to figure out if there is any real advantage of a paid subscription/membership - so was looking for any thoughts/comments from those that pay for it? Is there any real advantage?

As I am new to charting, was also on the hunt for any tips or advice from those who are more experienced. I recieved my BBT thermometer today from eBay. original.gif

Thanks girls xxx

Bedge - I've got the paid subscription as I believe some of the functionality cuts out after the trial period ends. I think from memory it was something like $45 for 12 months which was ok for me.
I find it helpful to see what's going on - more importantly, if we need to go to a FS, we will have lots of background information already that will hopefully help inform next steps.
I do agree with you though - it's not the most intuitive website but definately watch the little videos on how to chart - that makes it a bit easier.
I take my temp orally first thing in the morning - write it down then enter it into my phone when I can. The app is pretty good although it doesn't have full site functionailty (ie: analysis post o).
Good luck original.gif

Thanks for your reply - sorry it took me a while to get back to you.

I'm glad Im not the only one who finds the site quite confusing. I have spent a lot of time on it now, and think I am getting the hang of it.

I am doing the same, temps orally - and then using the app. Although my dog ate my new BBT thermometer today, so have had to order a new one! lol

Good luck to you too xx

Hi Bedge and Ali_Cat, I only just 2 days ago paid a membership with FF, as it seems that most of the advanced analysis functions plus the colour scheming and access to some of the other parts of the site would cut out at the end of the trial period. it was only $45.00 for the full year and they added it to the remainder of the trial period days. i found it a bit awkward to use at first too, the charting course is worth subscribing to and it goes straight to your email for about 2 weeks and explains some of the assumed knowledge with the different fertility signs and reading the chart etc.

As a complete novice to charting Im actually finding it really interesting and useful for my ttcing as it is the first time in my life that I have really ever known exactly when I O'd, and just identifying the accompanying physical signs.

good luck to you with it.

brazen boldness
The VIP version is pretty good value, I think. More data analysis, temp correct funtion, comparison funtions etc.

Of course, with more detail comes more obsession wink.gif

I am no longer actively TTC, but had VIP for the majority of the time I charted.
