Because of the syllable rhythm of 2-2, I'd be tempted towards Luke Brendan, but admittedly I just prefer Luke's clean lines anyway.
How many syllables is your last name? Don't tell us what it is, just how long? Levi Brendan is 2-2 but avoids the whole suite of Luke- names which are all pretty popular. Joel Brendan Heath Brendan Josiah Brendan Nathaniel Brendan Micah Brendan, Ezra Brendan - Same rhythm and -a ending first, but less common than Luca. |

Love the name OP.
I like Luke as well but I'm not fond of Lucas. This post has been edited by Bek+3: 09/11/2012, 09:33 AM |

I don't like Luca paired with Brendan. I do love the name Luca though. I think Lucas or Luke go better with Brendan.

I think Luca is a wonderful name, I am ambivalent about Brendan, mostly because it was the name of my first boyfriend. I think Luca Brendan works quite well, despite the different origins, my son has a Spanish first name and an English/Irish middle name so I'm not averse to the idea of Luca Brendan

I love Luca, not so keen on Brendan though, but I understand that's a family name.
I think Luca is a lovely first name, would have it on my own list if it wasn't so similar to DD's name |

I don't like Luca paired with Brendan. I do love the name Luca though. I think Lucas or Luke go better with Brendan. I think I agree with Sunnycat. The flow is fine but they just look a bit odd together. Nothing binds them if that makes sense. Lucas or Luke are just fine. |
