Bronze?

Thanks for doing the list BBV original.gif Hope you're doing well.

Congrats MJCplus1 - great news! Boy/girl nursery would be a fun challenge. I'm going for a forest theme, which is pretty neutral.

MrsBobby - not frightened of labour? Good on you! I don't think I'm scared, in a way I'm looking forward to it, but a bit nervous about how it will all go.

Alxeen - I'm impressed you're so organised. I guess with twins you'll have to be. But you'e obviously well planned things.

WhimsicalDragonfly - nice to hear from you! Glad the scan went well. I haven't had any leakage... yet original.gif

Cloria - funny about bubs at the concert, i often wonder if kicks are a like or dislike reflex! Great news about your cot and change table too... nice to have the friend with the spray booth!

5ratbags - congrats on the scan and the little girl. Glad the diet is going well too, that must be a relief!

Studybug - sorry you've been having a tough few weeks. I hope you and DS feel better soon.

Minxybug - yay for good scans! original.gif

AFM - just heard from my mum who is in emergency with suspected appendicitis. I'm hoping everything is ok and they can treat it ok. Waiting up to hear back from her about a CT scan...

I've been having really bad upper abdominal pain over the past couple of days and it's worse tonight. I wonder if it is muscles splitting/seperating. It's just under my ribs, about where my bra strap is, slightly to the left side. Anyone had anything similar? Anything to worry about?

Hi to everyone else - hope you are all doing well.

Congrats on all the recent scans folks! Just finished scrolling through the pages of threads that I had to read. I wish there were more hours in the day.....
Nursery ideas go to pinterest! OMG some of the sweetest and coolest rooms. There are complete boards of ideas on shared rooms. I've been slowing pinning my favs and am finding it hard to narrow it down.

Katey I would take yourself to the docs after you've finished breastfeeding to get checked. I had colostrum pre kids, and it turned out I had elevated prolactin due to pituitary gland tumour. There are very few other things that can cause it. It sounds more serious than it is so don't be alarmed or rush to check, but it can cause significant probs if unchecked. I just took tablets to fix.

Active birth I wanted to go this way first time round, but because I had to have a drip, the midwifes encouraged me to stay in the bed. I'll have to have a drip again, but I'm planning on staying more active and dragging the drip around. I'm also doing pilates with a physio who specialises in pregnancy to get the pushing muscles as prepared as possible.

Latest scan was this morning with OB. There are still people at work not realising I'm pregnant (I'm 23w), and OB was saying that I extend to the sides rather than the pot belly cuteness. In other words, I just look fat, not with child. Ugg! It will take another few weeks until I pop out in front.

I have started already to get odema in my feet. Has anyone else's feet already started puffing up? I'm remembering how uncomfortable and strange it felt. *sigh*

Camping I've foolishly agreed to one night on air matress supervising a school camp. I hope it's not as uncomfortable as you've said. Gulp. What was I thinking!

Saying that, I should be asleep now. Reading and posting has taken longer than I thought on my phone, and now it's almost tomorrow. Later folks.

hey ho all-

I've just discovered that www.clothingattesco.co.uk ship for free/very low cost to Aus. The clothes are excellent for basics, and really very good value (5 body suits for $10).

take a looksy.

Okay - this is dangerous, but yes I will look!

I've had colostrum in my boobs ever since I went had the implanon inserted 4 years ago. Within a month of having it inserted, I could 'squirt' a metre across the room if I squeezed my boobs. Even though I had the implanon taken out, it never went away and now I'm noticing it again more that I'm pregnant. If I squeeze, I can get enough that it will dribble down to my belly.

Wow! Mine is not at all that much. GP did a breast exam and tried to milk my BBs - Bit of a weird experience seeing it was my third appt with her! But she was happy nothing came out. DH didn't know where to look so suddenly started looking at his phone! I also mentioned it to the midwife and she just said 'Great!'. About the colostrum I mean, not the attempted milking incident!
Have you had your situation checked out?

Shopping - don't forget about eBay ...boori & other brand stuff is ridiculously cheap....some great bargains to be had....

Whimsical D - not sure if you have read other threads currently going on on here...but and this is meant to be a friendly suggestion, I would be careful with that particular book, there are some very strong opponents and if you are reading a variety that's great, as different strokes for diff folks etc....And you should explore options and viewpoints ...

I asked and DH said yes he meant to put that on the card as that's what I call him here online wink.gif

Redmum- I think it's like a pinch skin test on yr arm for iodine? But yes blood test as well i think ...hope you are feeling better

Must go sleep..sweet baby dreams all

I haven't seen the other threads but I'd like to check them out. Where were they?
I'm not sold on any one philosophy yet so am happy to check out lots of ideas and opinions, and have been trying to read widely. Think I'll need a breast pump either way for for flexibility so would love to hear advice about manual vs electric. Electric seem expensive, but may be worth it?

Hi! Hope your mum is okay and gets better soon.
I haven't had the pain you're talking about but had random lower right abdo pain the other day for about a minute. No idea what that was.

Anyone had nose bleeds? I had a massive nosebleed about a week ago in the middle of the night. Took 45 min to stop and was almost going to hospital but it finally stopped. Was so glad, as I really just wanted to go back to sleep, I was exhausted.
