I sound so dumb right now, I bet everyone reading this thread is going blink.gif or ffear.gif or even nno.gif lol

NOT in the microwave.

yeah not this, one day not too long after greek easter in yr 12 durning a spare some of us girls thought we would like to know what would happen if you put on in the microwave. Explosion is what happens.

I have a breville thing that boils them it is electric. Do you have a plug in steamer machine, you can do them on that as well.

ETA: the way you are meant to do it so they don't get black bits is place the eggs in the water bring it to the boil and then turn it off for and let them sit for 13 minutes. That would work in the kettle.

My war paint is Sharpie ink
You can scramble them instead in the microwave. Just stir with a fork every 30 seconds. It seems to take forever and then they are done very quickly at the end.

BAke them in the oven. Obviously not boiled, but taste similar. They just get put straight onto the oven rack in their shell and baked. Google for the technique.

I never boil eggs, if I want them solid and plain I crack them into a muffin pan and bake in oven.
Turn oven on 200 degrees
Crack eggs into pan
Place in oven
Enjoy easy eggs approx 9 minutes later.

Once the eggs look done they are done. No need to run under cold water or mess about with peeling.
