Ok this is a dream... and i know i would never be able to get one of these...

but i really really would love to get one of these dogs!

Serious look at the size and fluffy and cool these dogs are.... they would need to be trained so well as a puppy but the males can grow around 75cm high!

They are gorgeous, but I could never have one. They are a LGD (livestock guardian dog) and they need a job. To have one in suburbia would be cruel, they need sheep to protect.

My dream dog (besides the one I have) is a Malamute. I fear they are far too strong for me, mentally and physically, so I settle for patting other peoples.

I adored Dalmatians from a very young age and my family ended up breeding Dallys and we have always had one. Later on I loved Cavaliers so we have always had a couple of them and now my dream dog has been Pointers and I got my first last year and she is utterly gorgeous.

i could never get one even once i have more time/money/house big enough to have it... because i know that i would never have the strength and discipline to not have it become a disobedient giant fluffy monster!

but yeah it was also be cruel on the dog to have it as "just a pet"...

malamutes are also stunning!

Mallys are horridly wilful. I can cope with wilful shar peis (and I do), but they aren't the same weight as me lol. Doesn't stop me from desperately wanting one though. I've wanted a Mal since I was 18.

Great Dane

Just absolutely love them. Would I ever own one?

I would love to have 2 of them, may be a little big although after my troublesome Maltese could they couldn't be that bad could they.

The Danes will be easier than the malt, seriously.

GD's are stupid and lazy. Maltese are much smarter and more hyper.

I would just love Great Dane too. Our rescue Boxer appears to be a GDx. Just lovely original.gif Boxers are wonderful dogs; always my first choice, but DH was keen on a 'smart' dog. Ooops biggrin.gif
