I'm pretty certain that this is the pram we'll be getting. Large storage underneath, 10kg weight which is considered light compared to others, can be folded with one hand and has the option of front or rear facing seat.

I did find it cheaper on Amazon (US$450) but not sure about the shipping charges just yet.

I also read somewhere that new orders won't arrive in Australia until Feb '13. There was a fault with one of the clips (nothing major the article said) so they redesigned the clip and the updated model will be on sale from Dec in the USA and reach us early next year.

All those i know who have a versa had it recalled and a tempory frame replacement.

I would wait as long as possible before buying one.

From the specs I found online, it's more like 11.2kg and I don't know whether you can collapse it without the seat, which means hefting that entire weight in and out if the boot. This was the deal breaker for me and I ended up with the mini gt which weighs 9.5kg. No rear face though unfortunately.

Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult...
Got mine from the US as soon as they were released. Don't know about any recall? - never had a problem with mine.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this pram.
Incredibly easy to steer and manoeuvre. It can be forwards or reverse facing, fold with the seat in either direction in one quick pull. Basket is huge and especially easy to access in rear facing position.
The ONLY thing I don't like about it is it doesn't go completely flat, and there are only 3 seat positions. But the rest of it makes up for that. Wish I had one with my first 3 bubs!

The recall is for the folding of the pram. The frame doesnt fold as smooth as it should for some and people have got fingers caught.

Those who have warranty and registered are getting tempory replacement frames.

All versas have been recalled in australian stores.
