My DS is 8 months old and about to be left overnight for the first time on the weekend so we can attend a wedding.

Up until this point he's been breasted only. We've managed to get him to drink from a bottle but because I haven't had time to express he will be having formula, which he has been happy enough to drink the few times we've trialled it in the lead up to this weekend.

We have been using S26, mainly because it was available in single serve packets at the supermarket. It seems though that DS doesn't tolerate it that well, as he vomits every time he has it. He isn't usually a baby who vomits.

So which formula should be try next? It seems like such a silly question, especially as he is our third baby, but we've never used formula before.

The only one we had any success with was Nan. Expensive trial and error!

Ditto. I comp fed with Bellamys. It is the only formula I would use. We had no problems at all with it and I loved that it is organic.

Another vote for bellamy's. My breastfed son took it well and tolerated it really well.

Bellamy's actually smells and tastes quite nice, unlike a lot of formulas....
My DD1 had no problems with it.

I tried 4 different formulas before I found the right one for DS. Karicare Aptimal Gold. I didnt ever try Bellamys though.

Dont touch Na HA Gold with a 10 foot pole since they changed the ingredients.

We had the same issue with the S26 Gold with our little dude. He would vomit and get really windy/gassy and unsettled.

We ended up with the regular Karicare formula and have no issues with it whatsoever.

Wishing, and hoping, and thinking, and praying
Avoid S26 like the plague. I reckon it should be taken off the market personally.

Nan HA is honestly the best and believe me we have tried them all (no joke.) It is dear however its the most easily digested.
