It's amazing isn't it? I ate a sandwich for the first time in nearly 13 years without having to toast the bread. A sandwich!!!!!!

You sound like DH when he finds something yummy that doesn't make him double over in pain & rely on buscopan &/or zyrtec.

My mum did the exact same thing!! tthumbs.gif

You know it's getting closer to 'normal' bread when she says Dad keeps accidentally eating it thinking its the normal loaf!!

There was a thread about this bread recently. Its so exciting when you ro yours finda gf product that tastes great. My DD didnt like the changed recipe and I didnt like the addition of 282 preservative. I received an email from Coeliac Aust about a new brand available at Coles - www.pure-bred.com I dont know anything about it or its preservative status. We are on an absolute winner with Imperial Gluten Free bakery in SYdney. Bye bye supermarket bread, hello fresh and reasonably priced bread.

Can't agree more! Generally speaking I keep bread in the freezer so don't get the chance to eat it fresh (which was IMPOSSIBLE with the old one - ick). But the other day when I got home from the supermarket, I had my first fresh sandwhich in ten years! I even felt naughty! biggrin.gif

With that said, I don't think its as great toasted as the old one.

ETA: I also tried the banana bread (cant think of the brand) the other day. It was also delish!
