I had my follow up appointment the other day. The earliest the FS could get us into the IVF clinic was February. I was a little upset at the time, but have come around now. I had read so many stories on here of women being told they needed IVF and starting 2 weeks later that I just assumed we would get a cycle in before Christmas. I didn't realise that the IVF clinic here is not full time and they do clinics once every 6 weeks. So we are booked in for the second week in February.

We will use the time to have a fantastic Christmas and New Year with family and friends. We might even get in a quick holiday or two!! I am a Christmas nut so I am sure I can keep myself busy xmas_cool.gif

I hope everyone else is well, it's been rather quiet in here lately.

Oh and P.S. Mish am I allowed to be added to the list? blush.gif

Hey Allie - I can understand your disappointment. I had no idea that they went in 6 week cycles? Is this something that is standard across all clinics? Can't quite understand the logic. Definitely get a couple of holidays in, and just enjoy the festive time (might be the last time for a while you can have a few drinkies!).. and work on getting yourself into the healthiest state you can be in (not suggesting you're not already btw) so that you're all prepared for your journey next year.

AFM - not much happening with me. Seeing my TCM tonight. If this cycle doesn't work she wants me on progesterone pessaries - anyone had much experience with these?

Hi Ladies,

I have updated everyone....

Hope you are all well, I am hanging in there. Have a long weekend away this weekend and it couldn't come quick enough, this has been really tough on us as a couple and I am hoping we can make it.

I have started taking CoQ10 today, figured it can't hurt and is good for the heart as well. Bonus.

Hey Mish - have been thinking about you and hoping you're ok. Are you doing anything for the long weekend? Hope you can do something special together.

CoQ10 definitely won't hurt. I've upped my dosage to 600mg now (2 tabs, twice a day). Not sure if i have asked before but are you on DHEA too?
