Bronze!

So sorry Kate for your loss.

Good luck everyone having scans! I am just plodding along waiting now. We have told everyone now, so at least I don't have to hide the bump and lie anymore! Quite a relief!

Our news is out of the bag too, after getting our scan results on Friday and all being good. Good luck to all the scans happenning this week. If you're like me you'll start sobbing the minute you see bubs and hear the heartbeat - if they don't offer then ask if you can hear it original.gif It's amazing!

So the word is slowly getting around my workplace today. I'm sure everyone is far more interested in "oooh how long will she take off - who will do her job while she's away" then my actual pregnancy, lol. The lady I sit next too was like "I KNEW IT!" lol. She's been telling me since week 1 "I reckon your pregnant" and I kept making jokes and lying my way out of it, bahahaha.

I think the only vegetable I ate all weekend was cucumber. Seriously I've veen living on toast and pasta. last night for dinner I had 1/2 a baguette - first with olive oil and balsamic and then with cucumber slices on it, then some just with butter.... then a Mars Bar Ice Cream. OMG who invented those? Just evil. So today I'm trying to be good and bought a salad for lunch.... but I think I forgot to have breakfast I realised before, ha! Even with all the carb loading.... I've lost another 700g so I'm very happy I can report to the hospital tomorrow for my first visit and let them know I've lost about 5kg so far original.gif

Work sux. At least I can get on this forum.... because most other things are blocked aannoyed.gif Can't wait for end of month rush to be over.

12 week scan today - all good smile1.gif

I even got clucky for the first time seeing its little feet. And we got a 3D image, which was not available for routine scans last time. Apparently I am growing an alien lol

Kate and Lucky2013, I felt like crying when I read your sad news! Great big hugs to you both. No more sad news for our DIG please!!! I feel like I have just jinxed myself... Totally freaking out about my scan on Friday, and like quite a few others it's my first one and I am totally convinced there will be nothing in there. sad.gif
I was going to try and respond to other posts, but now it's a new thread, I can't remember any of the other posts from before..
Feeling a bit like I want a cry myself. Earlier this year I put in for voluntary redundancy at work and just got the email over lunch time that I won't get one. At least I can have 12 months maternity leave I guess...
