What restaurants/cafe do you return to time after time?
What do you love about it?
What kind of food is it?
Where is it?

I'm struggling to find places that I'd happily return to.
Happy to try anything.

Cafes - all in the Highgate, North Perth area
Lincolns
Tarts
Hobart Street Deli
These three are all small with homemade food and good coffee
Beaufort street merchant - awesome breakfast

In other parts of Perth I like the Cimbolina cafes, delicious pastries, consistently good coffee

Restaurants
LOVE the Grilled burgers
Must Wine Bar - best meal I had in Perth but v expensive, on Beaufort St
Little Creatures I thought had v good food and v fast so good with kids.

Anyone tried Chutney Mary's in Subi - oh the chicken korma is THE BEST!

I don't mind Sienna's either in Leederville or Highgate.

Hanami on Beaufort St, Mount Lawley is great for Japanese. The food is delicious and I like to book a table at the front so you can do the traditional low table/cushions on the floor thing. DD loves it and so did my nieces and nephew when I took them there.

Restaurant Amusé is amazing for a special meal without kids. They do an amazing 10-course degustation and are also happy to make this a vegetarian degustation and accommodate allergies. Their food and their service is absolutely incredible.

Anyone know where to get some good Lebanese food in Perth?

We always go back to the Beach Bar next to Salt at Port Beach. The service is good, the food is not bad - seafood, chips, woodfired pizza, the beer is on tap and there is a playground and a view of the ocean as nice as you'll find anywhere really. It's good for Sunday afternoon with the kids.

Blend on Marmion St in Melville has a great reputation for a reason. I don't know anyone who doesn't return once they've been once. We go there for coffee and breakfast but the dinners are also supposed to be great. The home made baked beans are delicious. I haven't had them in a while but used to get these on a big potato cake topped with a poached egg in an avocado half and hollondaise sauce. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had.

Wild Poppy is nice in Fremantle. Grandma chic decor and good for coffee, cake or a simple lunch.

I've been told the Prophet in Vic Park is amazing - I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Thanks for the responses. I'm starting to compile a list.

I've been to The Prophet and it was amazing. That was years ago and I can still remember their babaganoush.
