That is a really nice pattern. How much extra material would I need to turn it into a king size quilt.
I'm thinking of asking my mother in law to make it for us for our birthdays next year - I will buy all the materials and she will sew it for me. Bless her heart, she loves doing this. |

Blackcat I have been told it is quite a simple quilt to do the oversized blocks make it good for someone with very little quilting experience - how did you find it.

I'm doing one
 Each block takes me about an hour to put together and I have two more to go. so far It has taken me about 6 months but I have had a lot of other stuff going on as well.Its is easy although I have had to unpick a couple of times due to not concentrating and putting one of the corners on upside down. |

Hi I'm Jenny, I don't often post in here but occasionally have a read when I get a break from the kids.
I'd love to make that quilt. I have a lovely sewing machine collecting dust. I have made garments before but I'm new to quilting. Would love to join in if you go ahead. I could do with the motivation of joining a group, I haven't sewn anything for ages. Jenny |
