What do you use? I've been using olive oil but it's still there and seems even drier the next day. Who knows how...
Anyone got a secret way to get rid of it?

DS is now 2 and still has patches of cradle cap!! I've given up trying to treat it, plus now he has tons of hair no one else can see it:)
I've tried lots if creams and oils and nothing made a real difference- sorbolene, olive oil, almond oil... Just made him look like a grease ball.
My twin 8wk olds are starting to get little patches, I'm just going to ignore it unless someone on here posts a miracle cure I've not tried yet!

Moogoo scalp cream DS had the worst cradle cap, was in his eyebrows sides o his face all through his hair , after weeks of using olive oil with no results the MooGoo had it gone in 3 days

Continue with massaging warm olive oil onto the scalp. Let it soak in, then use a very soft hairbrush (a baby's brush is ideal) in slow circles on the scalp to gently 'peel' off the cradle cap.
It may take a few applications to do it, but with our kids it was enough to stop it recurring.

I found the olive oil did work.

I massaged it in and left for about 15 mins then combed it all out gently but firmly with a fine baby comb.

All the yellow bits came away from the scalp easily.

Shampooed out with baby shampoo and that was it. Not even greasy afterwards.

I used olive oil as well and also a cradle cap mitt (from target)

I just put oil on his head 3 times a day and then rubbed around in circles with the mitt it removed all the flaky skin and then put a beanie on to keep the oil in and off the furniture.

I found Moo Goo eczema cream very effective, I had no luck at all with olive oil.

Olive oil worked for us too, and hers was really bad!

Day 1: Warm a bowl of olive oil in the microwave. Apply liberally - like really soak the head in it. Massage into the scalp. Leave for 3-4 hours. Gently rinse off in the bath - don't use shampoo. Baby will still be greasy afterward.

Day2: Warm a bowl of olive oil in the microwave. Apply liberally - like really soak the head in it. Massage into the scalp. Leave for 3-4 hours. Starting at the hairline gently dislodge the cradle cap with a comb (I just used a plastic comb). It should lift off without much effort. Rinse oil and cradle cap flakes off head in the bath. I wouldn't use shampoo yet, just give the scalp a break. Baby will probably still be a bit greasy.

A day or two later I would use shampoo. And finally a cradle cap free, non-greasy baby! From then on I shampooed her hair about once a week and it never came back.

I did the oil olive daily combined with combing ... Just didn't work for us, and I was diligent about doing it everyday
