As per the title I am trying to find somewhere to hire (or very cheaply obtain) a car seat for a few days.

All the hire places I found seem to only do capsules.

Would need to deliver or be in the hunter/newcastle.

TIA

It may be cheaper to purchase a seat at KMart, Big W or Toys RUs.

I just bought a spare booster seat for $20 from K-mart. I doubt you could hire one cheaper than that.
I don't use it for distance driving though as it doesn't have sides, although it does have side hooks for preventing 'submarining'. I use it just for dropping other people's kids home from school etc. We are in the inner suburbs so it's pretty hard to get above 40kph locally.
Otherwise you can buy the full seats for $60, which may also be cheaper than hiring.

Thank you for the replies.

I ended up buying a convertable booster. I figure it can live at my sisters and be used when we visit since all my family is around the same area.

The logistics of travelling with kids are a nightmare!!!
